The British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) is a nationally recognised system established in 1986 to enable research into rare childhood diseases and rare complications of common conditions across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We have studied more than 140 conditions that have generated evidence impacting policy, research, practice, and education.
